Thanks to wonderful citizen volunteers like Jesse Maddox (pictured below) for getting our Little Free Libraries in good repair for the Summer. This LFL, located at Airport Road Park, will be stocked with children’s books by Spalding County Leisure Services Manager Kelly Carmichael. Books are supplied from the book repository at First National Bank and serviced by Andrea Griffin. Children’s books in good condition may be donated at the entrance of the Women’s Center of WellStar Spalding Regional Hospital and the entrance of First National Bank, main branch on South Hill Street. Children are encouraged to take a book and leave a book, but take one even if they don’t have one to leave. Little Free Libraries is an initiative of the Spalding Collaborative.
